Dear all
On the ground in Palestine, our work continues. Holidays like Eid Al-Adha
are time to work and catch up for many of us. Volunteers and some staff
even come to palestinenature.org and keep us regulars (Jessie, I, Zohar)
company. We eat good food, read good books, write (hopefully) good
research, harvest and water the garden etc. Do join us in this good
environmental and scientific work. The rest of this message relates to
human rights so delete if these “political issues” do not interest you and
wait for the next message which will focus on climate change, environmental
issues etc.
Zionists are up in arms about Ben and Jerry Icecream makers deciding to
comply with International law and instruct their Israeli distributors not
to sell their brand in the Israeli colonies built on stolen Palestinian
land in the West Bank. Interestingly those who talk endlessly about peace
and two state solution oppose boycotts of any kind even if to illegal
colonies.
The Israeli spy tool used to target and even kill human rights activists,
journalists, and politicians. This story is just the tip of the iceberg and
it is not just media that is targeted but politicians and even activists
